Technical Recruiter Job Description


Cullerton Group is an IT and Engineering staffing firm headquartered Chicago, IL. Our team of technical recruiters combine years of experience in staffing with a deep understanding of the industries they serve. Due to an increased demand for our services we are currently hiring a Technical Recruiter to join our team and grow with our company. This is a permanent position. Compensation is salary + commission and competitively based on industry standard. On Track Earnings (OTE) for the Technical Recruiter are $100K+ in the first 12 months. Cullerton Group offers a generous benefits package that includes 401K, health insurance, vacation, and holiday pay.


As a Cullerton Group recruiter, you will drive our business’ growth by sourcing, screening, and placing consultants in Chicago, IL and across the United States. You will develop the ability to recognize the different engagements and hiring models applicable to our industry (W2, Corp-to-Corp, contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent recruiting) and work simultaneously on multiple opportunities. You will have ample opportunity to bring your own “style” to your job, but you will not “reinvent the wheel”. Cullerton Group has a proven system for recruiting success that is metrics driven. Responsibilities

  • Contract recruiting for IT and Engineering candidates

  • Metrics driven recruiting – track interviews, resume submissions, placements, etc.

  • Recruit on multiple openings, across varied clients and skill sets, simultaneously

  • Drive sales activities - client meetings, leads, find job orders, etc.

  • Establish Point of Contact relationships with Cullerton Group consultants – through calls, lunch meetings, etc.

  • Take accountability for personal and professional development by attending webinars, off-site training, industry conferences, and by reading.

Requirements​

  • One year of professional experience in service role (sales, recruiting, customer service, retail, etc.)

  • Exposure to technical industries – IT services, Software Development, Engineering services, etc.

  • Desire to grow professionally and learn every day.

  • Ability to handle multiple work streams simultaneously.
